Ingredients
- 6-7 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ¾ cup finely diced carrots
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon celery salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons corn starch or flour mixed with enough COLD water or chicken broth to make a thin paste
Recipe Description
I love cream of chicken soup, but I like it simple, without lots of veggies in it. I’ve expanded on that just a little bit, adding finely diced carrots and some spices and herbs, but it’s still very simple. I know this is probably just me though, so feel free to add whatever veggies you like.
