Ingredients
- Dwaraka Organic Sunflower Oil for deep-frying
- 200 g sliced onion
- ½ tbsp Dwaraka Organic Turmeric Powder
- 1 Green Chili (finely chopped)
- ½ cup Dwaraka Organic Chana Besan
- 125 g thick, sour curd
- 2 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Dwaraka Organic Cumin Seeds
- 1 ½ tsp Dwaraka Organic Red Chili powder
- 1 ½ tsp Dwaraka Organic Red Chili powder
- ½ pinch ginger
- ½ stick curry leaves
- ½ tsp Dwaraka Organic Coriander Powder
- water as required
Recipe Description
In Besan, add sliced onions and green chilli
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix it well.
Heat oil in a kadhai.
When the oil is hot, drop spoon full of batter into the kadhai.
Fry the Pakoras till they turn a golden colour.
Transfer the fried Pakoras to a plate and keep aside.
Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in heavy bottomed pan.
In a bowl, add sour curd, 1/4th of the Pakora batter and water to form a smooth paste.
In the kadhai, add curry leaves, cumin seeds and sauté them.
Add ginger to the pan and sauté again.
Add the yoghurt mixture to the pan.
Season it with salt and coriander powder.
Boil the mixture and let it simmer till the mixture turns thick. Stir continuously.
When the Kadhi (curry) is thick enough, add the Pakoras.
Cook for a couple more minutes.
Transfer the Kadhi Pakora to a serving bowl and serve warm.
