Recipe Description
DESCRIPTION: You probably go through your fair share of raw veggies on the keto diet. Liven them up with either this keto faux french onion dip recipe.
I know, I know. It would be so much easier if you could just go to the store and pick up some dip. And you can – but you should know what’s in there if you’re going to do that.
Not only is that easy dip not keto, it’s just not good for you. It’s super processed, full of chemicals, and devoid of real nutritional value.
You’ll find things like canola oil, sugar, corn and wheat gluten, and MSG. Not surprisingly, my keto version does not contain any of those.
Recipe Directions
- Heat the avocado oil in a hot frying pan. Add the diced onion to the pan and fry until browned.
- Place on a plate and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Mix together the mayo, dried garlic, dried onion, dried parsley, fried onions, and salt and pepper to taste.
