Leap year cocktail. A little bitter, a little sweet a whole lotta tasty. The perfect drink to celebrate one extra day this year. 2016 is a leap year, which means this coming Monday (29th) is the extra day in the month.Does that mean it’s an extra day on the end of the weekend? (wishful thinking). Sadly no, but it is our way of keeping the astronomical calendar synchronized because of the solar systems disparity with the Gregorian calendar or something of that nature. Can you tell I’m not up on astronomy? But not to bore you, I just prefer to look at it like it’s just a fun way to celebrate the extra day.
