- 2 (10.5 ounce) cans of condensed French onion soup
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 lb mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 large onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/3 cup water
Recipe Description
This wonderful Salisbury Steak will leave you licking your plate. My family loves it and yours will too. It is a just a teeny weeny tiny bit more work than burgers or meatloaf but every delicious succulent bite will prove to you that it was worth the effort. This recipe makes a lot of gravy so you have some for your mashed potatoes! Of course it would go great with oven fried potatoes or homemade mac n cheese!
