Summer barbeques sometimes demand heartier fare than the standard burgers and hot dogs. Pork ribs are a great way to build a better meal without exerting much more effort on your part. Toss ingredients together and allow flavors to combine while you put together a couple sides. These ribs are delicious served with mashed potatoes, potato salad, pasta salads, mac n’ cheese, and veggies. I use a spiced but you can use any flavor that you choose, the alcohol cooks out and while the flavor is altered after cooking it is still a prominent “seasoning” in this dish, so make sure it is a quality of rum you would drink.
