This recipe is great for simple and in the slow cooker a great way to make dinner or a great dish for guests.  It is sweet and savory and you can not go wrong with chicken.  It is a simple recipe that anyone can create.  You can use the whold chicken or if you are on a budget, just the legs.  Children and adults both love the legs and this dish goes great with rice or baked potatoes.

Recipe Directions

Instruction :
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
Place the chicken in a slow cooker, then pour the honey soy sauce mixture over the top.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water. Add the mixture to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Cover the slow cooker again and cook on high heat for an additional 30 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
Drizzle the sesame oil over the top of the chicken just before serving.
