Ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 C water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 C heavy cream
- 1 1/2 C shredded cheddar I used a combo of sharp and mild white and orange
- 3/4 C shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 T chopped parsley
Recipe Description
Homemade mac and cheese, ready in less time than a boxed mix! The instant pot pressure cooker makes these types of recipes perfect every time. I opted to use parmesan and cheddar cheeses but you could change up the cheese mix to suit your family's favorite cheeses. You could add cooked diced chicken to make a full meal of it.
